Sunday Worship
Sunday service begins at 10 AM. You may enter through either the front door (up the steps) or the back door (with access to a chair lift). New faces and guests are always welcome. Our services are traditional with moments of prayer, reflection, scripture readings, a life-relevant message based on scripture, lots of music, and announcements.
We are a gospel based church and we look forward to walking with other Christians on the path that God has laid out for us. We gather on Sunday mornings to be in Christian community and be nurtured in the Spirit by the service and by our time together. It is our goal to leave this service and to go out into the community to spread the love to everyone we meet. We gather after worship for coffee and discussion and all are welcome.

Baptisms
Baptisms are routinely included as part of the Sunday service. As a congregation, we enjoy welcoming new members into God's love. If you are interested in having a child baptised, or perhaps you are an adult and would like to be baptised, start by calling Darlene in the church office (905-655-8852). She will let the Minister know of your interest and they will meet with you to discuss the details. There is no fee for a baptism, but donations to the church are always appreciated.
Baptism is open to anyone and everyone who wants to be affirmed in their journey with Christ. There will be a short meeting with the family prior to the baptism. All baptisms will take place in the sanctuary and during a regular worship service except in cases of a medical emergency. Baptism is a time of celebration and we welcome guests to come and observe the sacrament of baptism. Everyone being baptised will be baptised in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Baptisms conducted in the United Church are recognized by the World Council of Churches and thus will be accepted by most other churches.
Funerals
Funerals and memorials can be facilitated by calling Darlene in the church office (905)655-8852. If you would like the service to be conducted in the church, we would consider it a privilege to assist the family in their time of mourning. If the service is being held in the sanctuary and the family would like to use a minister or pianist from the family, please let the church know so that those arrangements can be made.
Remembrance Day, UCW Sunday, and Anniversary Sunday tend to be a more flexible format with guest speakers.
Unique services include a quarterly Healing Service held on a Sunday evening at 7:00 PM. This is an opportunity to take part in a meditative service of worship and, if desired, to have a private healing prayer and anointing.
Communion services are held at the start of all the special seasons of the church, such as Advent, Lent, the Sunday before Easter, Pentecost, and World Wide Communion. They may also occur at other times based on the needs of the community.
